This 4-day training course shows you how to install, configure and operate a Snort Sensor. The available OpenSource tools for the maintenance and operation of the sensor are presented and installed in a meaningful way. The exercises provide you with the knowledge required for safe and robust installation and operation of a Snort sensor. are required.
Prerequisites: This course requires basic knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols. Administration skills of the Linux operating system are required.
